Murray Institute announces a new program at the undergraduate level!

Murray Institute is an endowed institute of the University of St. Thomas. Our governing board, the Murray Institute Faculty Committee, consists of faculty committed to Catholic education in its many forms and representation from the Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis.

The Murray Institute is pleased to announce the start of
an undergraduate Certificate in Lay Ministry
beginning in Fall 2017

This is a tuition-free undergraduate certificate program for parish ministers and religious educators of the Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis, who are not eligible to enroll in a graduate theology or pastoral ministry program, because they do not have an undergraduate degree. Second-career people who are transitioning into parish ministries but who have no theological education are also welcome to apply. Open to full-time or part-time Archdiocesan employees or people who do substantial volunteering in their parish. Program details can be found under the Current & Upcoming Cohorts tab on the Murray Institute website.
